SHRM Conference Uplifts.
The 2009 SHRM conference is off to great start. Starting off with Jack Welch yesterday and then listening to more great speakers today thus far it has been educational and uplifting. While the economy might have hurt the numbers of conference goers, there is no downtrend in enthusiasm of all these professionals together.
Where it be the give aways at the monster booth or the session I am about to attend on “How to Handle Annoying People” there is much to do and much to see. As one conference-goer I was talking to said there is as much value in meeting people and learning from peers as in the sessions themselves.
I have met many great people and look forward to meeting many more.
